Benicia Historical Society
The Benicia Historical Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1973 to preserve and share Benicia’s history. It is now known as the Museum of History Benicia and operates through educational events, community involvement, and by preserving and archiving artifacts. The society is also responsible for the city’s archives and provides historical information to the public, which includes a museum complex in the Benicia Arsenal District and a downtown gallery.
