Voena Youth Choir-Activities for Kids
Benicia’s VOENA Children’s Choir, founded in 1994, is a multicultural choir for ages 5-18 that promotes peace and cultural appreciation through music. Known for its vibrant “physical singing” style, the choir combines expressive movement with a cappella and accompanied vocal arrangements. Its mission is to “unite the world with children’s voices,” and it has performed at major venues like Carnegie Hall and for presidents, while also engaging in community outreach programs in local schools.
